What will you be doing?

We're looking for a skilled Backup & Storage Engineer with strong experience in enterprise-grade Commvault environments. You'll be responsible for designing, implementing, and supporting secure and compliant backup solutions for government and enterprise clients. This is a key technical role requiring both hands-on expertise and excellent client engagement skills.

Key Responsibilities:

• Design and deploy robust backup solutions using Commvault and Commvault Cloud (Metallic) platforms.
• Perform patching and system upgrades to ensure reliability and security.
• Ensure backup and recovery environments align with ISM controls and the Essential Eight framework.
• Work closely with vendors and stakeholders to resolve issues, perform root cause analysis, and implement long-term solutions.
• Prepare and maintain technical documentation including High-Level Designs (HLDs), Low-Level Designs (LLDs), as-built documents, and Work Instructions (WIs).

What will make you successful in this role?

• 5+ years of experience delivering Commvault backup solutions in complex enterprise environments.
• Practical experience with Commvault Cloud (Metallic).
• Strong communication and coordination skills, with a client-centric mindset.
• Experience working within ISM and Essential Eight frameworks.
• Confidence in preparing technical documentation and contributing to solution design.
• Industry certifications (e.g. Commvault, Veeam) will be highly regarded.
