Role Description

A full-time, on-site role based on the Gold Coast for an experienced Site Manager. You will oversee the full construction lifecycle of a $30 million multi-residential project (2 basement levels, 10 above-ground levels). The role requires strong leadership, technical expertise, and the ability to manage program, safety, quality, and subcontractor performance to ensure seamless project delivery.

Key Responsibilities

  • Manage day-to-day site operations ensuring adherence to safety, program, and quality objectives.
  • Oversee all on-site personnel including subcontractors, trades, and suppliers.
  • Coordinate site activities in line with construction schedules and design documentation.
  • Implement and enforce WHS procedures and ensure compliance with company policies.
  • Drive program outcomes through proactive planning, sequencing, and coordination.
  • Monitor progress against project milestones, budgets, and delivery targets.
  • Liaise closely with the Project Manager, Contract Administrator, and client representatives.
  • Conduct regular site meetings, toolbox talks, and inspections to ensure standards are met.
  • Review construction drawings and identify design or buildability issues early.
  • Ensure a high standard of workmanship and presentation across all stages of the build.

What We're Looking For

  • Proven experience as a Site Manager on multi-storey residential or mixed-use projects.
  • Strong technical knowledge of structure, services coordination, and finishing trades.
  • Demonstrated success delivering projects valued $20M +.
  • Excellent leadership, communication, and stakeholder management skills.
  • Ability to manage tight programs and drive outcomes under pressure.

Qualifications

  • Trade qualification or tertiary degree in Construction Management (preferred).
  • Current White Card and relevant WHS certifications.
  • Sound knowledge of the industry regulations, and relevant Australian Standards.
