We are searching for passionate, experienced section waiters.
Located on Sydney's iconic King Street Wharf, Georges Mediterranean is a vibrant, fast-paced venue with a long-standing reputation for excellent service. Since the original Georges opened doors in 1966, we have undergone many transformations (the latest being a full venue renovation late last year), but our venue values have always remained the same. Warmth, joy and a genuine care for each guest's experience.
Georges is a waterfront venue with incredible views and high levels of foot traffic, attracting tourists and Sydney-siders alike. With our open-air layout and close proximity to both transport and the wharf, we are a perfect venue for summer cocktails, relaxed dinners and packed happy hours. Georges is a high-volume bar and restaurant known for its quality and service, and we are searching for confident, reliable waitstaff to join our strong team. Prior experience is preferred, but if you have a positive attitude and a willingness to learn, we are happy to provide full training.
Our venue operates lunch-dinner on weekdays and breakfast-dinner on weekends, offering a wide range of shifts. We support a healthy work-life balance and are happy to provide flexible scheduling for the right candidates. Weekend availability is essential.
In return, we offer competitive rates, benefits and great tips. Team members enjoy a complimentary staff meal each shift and receive a generous 25% discount across our entire group.
