Job Description

Your opportunity to join our team

Based at Inghams Distribution Centre at Lytton QLD as the Quality Supervisor you will support the site and the wider QA Team by ensuring accurate and cost-effective food safety, animal welfare and quality assurance monitoring and verification processes. You will work closely with the operational team and lead and mentor the sites quality control inspectors

This is a morning shift position, the start time can be negotiable.

Daily Tasks

  • Supervise the implementation of quality assurance systems and procedures.
  • Conduct audits and inspections to ensure compliance with safety and quality standards.
  • Investigate and resolve quality issues, including corrective actions.
  • Collaborate with production teams to ensure seamless quality integration.
  • Maintain accurate QA documentation, including reports and non-conformance records.
  • Support internal and external audits as required.

You Will Bring to This Role

  • Experience in a Quality Assurance role, preferably in food manufacturing.
  • Previous experience in poultry processing (desirable).
  • External relationship building capabilities
  • Strong knowledge of HACCP, food safety regulations, quality management systems and auditing.
  • Excellent leadership, communication, and problem-solving skills.
  • High attention to detail and ability to work in a fast-paced environment.
  • Proficiency in computer systems related to QA processes.
  • Tertiary qualifications in Food Science, Quality Management, or similar (preferred).
