Turnkey is a leader in Industrial Trades Services, specialising in manufacturing, processing and infrastructure. We are seeking a skilled and motivated Boilermaker to join our dynamic team. This role is crucial in ensuring the fabrication, assembly, and installation of metal structures and components to meet our high-quality standards.

Key Responsibilities

• Read and interpret technical drawings, blueprints, and specifications.
• Fabricate, assemble, and weld metal structures, pipes, and pressure vessels.
• Operate and maintain tools and equipment such as welding machines, grinders, and oxy-acetylene cutting torches.
• Conduct repairs and modifications on metal components as needed.
• Perform quality checks to ensure compliance with engineering and safety standards.
• Work collaboratively with engineers, welders, and other tradespeople to complete projects efficiently.
• Adhere to workplace safety regulations and procedures, ensuring a safe working environment.

Skills & Experience Required

• Certificate III in Engineering – Fabrication Trade (or equivalent qualification).
• Proven experience as a Boilermaker or in a similar metal fabrication role.
• Minimum 2-3 years of proven experience as a Boilermaker or in a similar metal fabrication role.
• Proficiency in MIG, TIG, and Stick welding techniques.
• Strong understanding of metal properties and fabrication techniques.
• Ability to read and interpret technical drawings and schematics.
• Physical fitness and ability to work in demanding environments.
• Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
• Commitment to workplace safety and quality standards.
• White Card/Construction Induction Card (essential for site access).
• Valid Australian driver's licence (manual preferred).

Desirable Qualifications

• Experience in Manufacturing and Infrastructure
• Additional welding certifications or trade licenses.
• Forklift, EWP, or Confined Space tickets
• High Risk Work Licence for pressure equipment welding.
• Previous experience working with pressure vessels and related equipment.
