Gidgee Healing is an Aboriginal Community Controlled Health Service (ACCHS) delivering comprehensive primary health care and aged care services across the Northwest and Lower Gulf regions of Queensland. We are committed to empowering Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander communities to live long, healthy lives, strengthen culture, and regain spirit.

Your Role

  • Provide culturally safe podiatry services in Mount Isa and Lower Gulf communities
  • Conduct diabetic foot assessments and manage chronic conditions
  • Collaborate with a multidisciplinary team to deliver holistic care
  • Educate patients and health professionals on foot health and chronic disease management
  • Maintain accurate documentation and manage referrals, stock, and handovers

Who We're Looking For

  • Brave, passionate, and adaptable professionals
  • Compassionate and culturally aware individuals
  • AHPRA registration or eligibility
  • Willingness to travel and stay overnight in remote areas
  • Current C Class Driver's Licence (QLD) preferred
  • Satisfactory police check and Blue Card (or willingness to obtain)
