Dispensary Technician

Erina Pharmacy is seeking an experienced Dispensary Technician to step into a leadership role overseeing dispensary operations. This hands-on opportunity offers the chance to manage dispensary workflow, ordering, and stock control in a vibrant community pharmacy.

• Oversee day-to-day dispensary operations, ensuring efficient medication preparation and dispensing under pharmacist supervision.
• Manage and maintain stock levels, including placing orders, unpacking deliveries, and overseeing expiry date checks.
• Lead, train, and support dispensary staff, fostering a collaborative and high-performing team.
• Ensure all medication packaging and labelling meets regulatory and pharmacy standards.
• Maintain accurate records of dispensed prescriptions and inventory.
• Assist with customer queries, sales transactions, and provide friendly, knowledgeable advice.
• Monitor cleanliness and organisation in the dispensary, ensuring a safe and appealing workspace.
• Liaise with pharmacists, suppliers, and other departments for dispensary operations and compliance.

• Certificate III or IV in Community Pharmacy or equivalent pharmacy technician experience in Australia essential.
• Demonstrated experience dispensing medications, managing stock, and working as a senior pharmacy technician.
• Strong leadership, organisational, and communication skills.
• High attention to detail, reliability, and ability to thrive in a busy dispensary.
• Competence with pharmacy dispensing software (e.g. Fred, Minfos) is essential.
