This is an exciting opportunity for an Estimating Team Leader to oversee and manage estimating activities within engineered solutions. This role offers a chance to lead a dedicated team while ensuring accurate and timely project estimations.

Description

  • Lead and manage the estimating team across Australia and APAC to ensure high performance and accuracy in project estimates.
  • Develop and refine estimating processes to improve efficiency and effectiveness.
  • Review and analyse project specifications, drawings, and other documentation to prepare detailed cost estimates.
  • Collaborate with the sales department to ensure alignment with client requirements and expectations.
  • Provide technical advice and guidance to team members and stakeholders as needed.
  • Ensure compliance with industry standards and company policies in all estimating activities.
  • Prepare and present detailed reports on project costs and potential risks to senior management.
  • Maintain strong relationships with suppliers and subcontractors to ensure competitive pricing.

Profile

A successful Estimating Team Leader should have:

  • A strong background in the industrial or manufacturing industry, with a focus on estimating or cost analysis.
  • Proven leadership skills and the ability to manage and motivate a team effectively.
  • Excellent attention to detail and a methodical approach to problem-solving.
  • Proficiency in relevant estimating software and tools.
  • Strong communication and collaboration skills to work with internal teams and external stakeholders.
  • Solid understanding of project management principles and practices.
  • A commitment to delivering high-quality results within tight deadlines.
  • CAD experience preferable.
