About the role

House of Gold Jewellers' is seeking a Sales Assistant to join our team in our Salisbury location. This is a casual role, providing an excellent opportunity to develop your skills in the jewellery industry. The position offered is 2-3 days per week, with the potential to lead to full-time.

What you'll be doing

  • Sales

  • Providing exceptional customer service and assisting customers with product selection

  • Maintaining a tidy and well-presented store environment

  • Handling cash and card transactions accurately

  • Stock displays and arrangements

  • Cleaning stock

  • Reporting directly to the business owner

What we're looking for

  • Strong customer service and communication skills

  • Previous experience in sales and customer service

  • Passion for the retail industry and a keen interest in jewellery

  • Ability to work effectively both independently and as part of a team

  • Attention to detail and a problem-solving mindset

  • Flexible and adaptable to changing priorities

  • Experience working with jewellery is highly regarded but not essential
