About the Role

We are seeking an experienced and motivated Restaurant Manager to oversee the daily operations of our Broadbeach location. The ideal candidate will bring strong leadership skills, a passion for hospitality, and a proven track record in restaurant management. This is a hands-on role that requires operational excellence, a focus on customer satisfaction, and the ability to lead a high-performing team.

Key Responsibilities

  • Manage and oversee day-to-day restaurant operations, ensuring consistent high standards of service and quality
  • Lead, train, and motivate both front-of-house and back-of-house teams
  • Create and manage staff rosters for optimal coverage and efficiency
  • Handle customer feedback professionally and maintain a welcoming atmosphere
  • Oversee inventory management, ordering, and cost control
  • Ensure compliance with all health, safety, and food hygiene regulations
  • Assist in implementing marketing initiatives, promotions, and events to drive sales
  • Manage budgets and financial targets, reporting to the owner/director on performance

Key Performance Indicators (KPIs)

  • Customer Satisfaction: Maintain an average customer review rating of 4.5+ across platforms
  • Revenue Growth: Achieve monthly sales targets as set by management
  • Cost Control: Maintain food and beverage costs within budgeted percentage ranges
  • Staff Retention: Keep employee turnover below agreed industry benchmark
  • Operational Efficiency: Ensure 95%+ roster adherence and minimal service disruptions
  • Compliance: Achieve 100% compliance in health and safety inspections
  • Upselling & Promotions: Increase average spend per customer by targeted percentage through upselling initiatives

Requirements

  • Minimum 2–3 years of experience in a restaurant management role
  • Strong leadership, communication, and organisational skills
  • Ability to work under pressure in a fast-paced environment
  • Sound understanding of financial management, cost control, and inventory systems
  • Proven ability to meet and exceed KPIs
  • Flexibility to work evenings, weekends, and public holidays
