The role supports efficient business processes, consistent client service and accurate reporting while building skills in document automation and legal technology under guidance from senior team members.You will be responsible for:assisting with identifying tags/variables required for precedents and help maintain the data dictionary;coding precedent templates in a case/matter management solution or document automation solution under guidance;ensuring the automated precedent templates align with the current firm style (or client specific requirements if not a firm document);testing templates before release;managing assigned tasks and priorities, escalating issues where required;managing incoming helpdesk requests related to document automation, including triaging and assigning requests to the appropriate person;creating and maintaining documentation of case/matter management applications and document automation solutions;formatting documents in firm style to be uploaded to the precedent database; andhaving a thorough knowledge of the firm style guide and be a champion for style guide compliance.About youYou will ideally have the following skills and experience:experience or exposure to legal case/matter management systems, document automation solutions or legal precedentsgood working knowledge of Microsoft Wordability to manage assigned tasks and deadlines with guidance and supportwell-developed communication skillsability to work collaboratively and co-operatively with team members and firm personnel.accuracy and attention to detailinterest in understanding different stakeholder needs and following established processesability to problem solvefriendly and positive attitudeability to work under pressure and adhere to timelinesability to follow instructions and work in a team, as well as autonomously.About usHall & Wilcox is a leading independent Australian law firm.
