Senior Baker – Full-Time Opportunity
Location: Homebush West
We are looking for an experienced Baker (Mixer) to join our team in Homebush West. This is a full-time role on a rotating 7-day roster (5 days on, 2 days off), with full availability required, including weekends.
Shift Hours: 6:00 PM – 2:30 PM
About the Role
As a Mixer on the Baking team, you will be responsible for producing high-quality sourdough breads, ensuring consistency and excellence in every batch. You'll work as part of a well-established team in a fast-paced commercial bakery, maintaining high standards of efficiency, cleanliness, and food safety.
What We're Looking For
Experience in sourdough bread making, with a strong focus on mixing. Cutting, weighing, shaping, and moulding are additional activities that may be required
Trade Qualification in Baking (Certificate III in Baking or equivalent).
Minimum 4–5 years of hands-on experience in a commercial bakery.
Strong attention to detail and commitment to producing high-quality products.
Ability to work efficiently and consistently in a team environment.
Good communication skills and a proactive approach to teamwork.
Understanding of food safety, hygiene, and maintaining a clean work environment.
Skills & Requirements
- Trade qualified (Baking certification preferred).
- Minimum of 4 years' experience as a baker with Mixing experience essential.
- Hardworking, reliable, and enthusiastic.
- Flexibility to work across a 7-day roster, including weekends.
- Prior experience with sourdough bread production is essential.
