They are seeking a qualified and experienced Auto Electrician to join their dedicated production team, playing a critical role in the assembly and customisation of high-quality municipal vehicles.

• Diagnosing, repairing, and maintaining electrical systems on a diverse range of vehicles.
• Building custom control panels and control cabinets, including managing power inputs for the vehicle's functions.
• Fabricating and wiring electrical looms to be securely and efficiently run through the vehicle chassis.
• Installation and wiring of various vehicle accessories, including beacons and warning lights.
• Comprehensive wiring of the cab chassis to meet specific build requirements.
• Installing control panels within the cab chassis, which involves safely taking and managing the power feed from the vehicle's electrical system.
• Working on specialised vehicles, including the installation of anti-static electrical units on dangerous goods vehicles.
• Interpreting and working from complex wiring diagrams and schematics.

• Relevant Trade Qualification as an Auto Electrician (e.g. CTIII in Automotive Electrical Technology).
• Proven experience in automotive electrical systems.
• Demonstrated expertise in the specific requirements listed above (control panel building, loom fabrication, cab/chassis wiring, etc.).
• Strong diagnostic and fault-finding skills.
• A high level of attention to detail and a commitment to quality workmanship.
• The ability to work independently and as a positive member of a team.
