POSITION DETAILS
- Full Time Permanent Position
- Classification: Senior Management Remuneration Level 1 with a salary range of : $136,008 - $163,000; per annum (pro rata if part-time) + Superannuation
- Salary packaging arrangements providing tax benefits available for living and entertainment expenses increasing your take home income where part of your wage is paid tax free each pay, savings thousands in tax each year
- Location: Strathpine QLD 4500, however remote or hybrid working arrangements will be considered
ABOUT YOUR NEW ROLE
The Senior Manager, Operations is responsible for the operational oversight and responsibility for a cluster of programs, including functions such as contract management and reporting, funder and core relationships management, resource management, program staffing and leadership; service implementation, quality, safety, practice and consumer experience, critical incident and complex case support, team and staff development, governance, continuous improvement, portfolio growth and development and sector advocacy.
Neami holds a high standard of leadership and expects leaders to lead and maintain a positive culture, high quality services, and support and motivate high performing teams through effective coaching, mentoring and supervision. The role also involves regulatory & organisational compliance, service development and sector leadership. The role is responsible for elevating and strengthening lived and living experience, diversity & inclusion as well as quality cultural leadership and governance in everything we do

WHAT YOU WILL BRING TO THE ROLE
- Formal tertiary qualification in Human Services or a related field and/or relevant experience, knowledge and skills
- Understanding and knowledge of recovery based Psychosocial supports for individuals and groups
- Experience in overseeing Trauma Informed Practice in outreach,home-based and community setting
- Understanding of determinants of health and health promotion
- Experience in working in collaboration with public/state mental health
- Experience in developing services that meet the needs of priority populations including First Nations, young people, LGBTIQ+ community, and CALD
- Demonstrated practice of Values based behaviour
- Demonstrated strategic leadership and staff management experience
- Demonstrated ability to provide workforce support and development
- Commitment to sustainable leadership
- Demonstrated ability to implement and manage operational efficiencies and effectiveness
- Demonstrated understanding and experience with continuous quality & safety improvement initiatives
- Demonstrated leadership and understanding of work health and safety obligations
- Commitment to quality and safety
WHAT THE ROLE REQUIRES
- National Criminal History Check (police check) - disclosable outcomes considered
- Current Working with Children Check - required before commencement of work
- Australian working rights
- The capacity to drive/access to a car
