Conway Building Co. is a high-end custom home builder specialising in renovations, additions, and new builds based in the Southern Highlands NSW. We pride ourselves on exceptional craftsmanship and building to the highest standard.

We're seeking a passionate, detail-focused Carpenter to join our team. You'll work across all aspects of building from structural framing to intricate finishing, on projects that demand precision and a strong work ethic.

What you'll be doing

  • All aspects of carpentry and building work including concreting, framing, roofing, cladding, lining and fix out.
  • Reading and interpreting Architectural plans and specifications
  • Working within a team environment to deliver high quality projects.
  • Identifying and solving problems
  • Assisting with training apprentices

What we're looking for

We're looking for someone who is enthusiastic, shows initiative, has an eye for detail and a passion for the construction industry with:

  • Ability to read and interpret construction plans and drawings
  • Ability to work well in a team environment, with good communication skills
  • Strong working knowledge of carpentry techniques, materials, and tools
  • Certificate III in Carpentry
  • A current Carpentry Licence
  • Construction White Card
  • Commitment to follow WHS procedures and keep sites clean and tidy
  • Desire to grow within the business to take on more senior roles
