About the role
 

The Senior Intelligence Analyst applies expertise in making assessments and predictions to support decision making through a variety of tasks from tactical intelligence functions to strategic reporting on threats and challenges to NSW Police Force.

 

This Talent Pool is being created for future Ongoing or Temporary roles that may arise over the next 18 months. 
 
Placement in the Talent Pool remains valid for 18 months. There is no guarantee of employment as a result of this Talent Pool.

As an Intelligence Analyst you will be expected to prepare assessments using information from a variety of sources. Using a recent example of an assessment you have prepared outline how you managed information and the tools you used to conduct your analysis.

To be eligible for ongoing roles, you must meet one of the following statuses: 

• an Australian Citizen;
• a permanent resident of Australia; or
• a New Zealand citizen. 

Prior to commencement, the successful candidate will be required to undergo a rigorous National Police (criminal history) Check and obtain and maintain a Security Clearance as determined by the NSW Police Force.
