About the role

Smith Plant is seeking an experienced Water cart / Boggie Tipper Driver to join our team on a major project in Casino, NSW. You will be responsible for operating a water cart onsite and helping on the ground when required. The successful candidate will be part of a 12 month road / industrial subdivision project for a government client.

What you'll be doing

  1. Providing dust suppression and moisture conditioning during roadworks.
  2. Carrying out daily pre-start checks on water cart
  3. Completing some labor tasks onsite when not driving water cart as directed by the site supervisor.
  4. Helping with site set out, levels and collecting paperwork from deliveries.
  5. Adhere to all safety procedures and regulation.

What we're looking for

  1. Minimum 2 years' experience operating water carts on roadworks and civil sites.
  2. Current HR or HC driver's licence and white card.
  3. Be fit and willing to help on the ground throughout the day assisting the site supervisor completing a wide variety of tasks.
  4. With near new trucks we are looking for someone that will look after them including greasing / daily plant checks and taking general care.
  5. Having experience on rollers and boggie tippers would also be advantageous but not necessary.
