About the role

Central Vic Stabilising Pty Ltd is seeking a skilled and experienced Operator/all rounder to join our team in Bendigo, VIC on a casual basis with the opportunity to move into permanent role for the right person. In this dynamic role, you will be responsible for operating a range of plant and machinery to support our construction projects across the region.

What you'll be doing

  • Safely operate various construction equipment such as rollers, bobcats, and earth moving equipment
  • Assist with maintenance and servicing of plant and machinery
  • Carry out a variety of general construction tasks as required
  • Work as a team to ensure timely and efficient delivery of construction works
  • Adhere to all relevant health, safety, and environmental policies and procedures

What we're looking for

  • Proven experience as a plant and machinery operator, ideally in the construction industry
  • Relevant licences and certifications for operating construction equipment
  • Strong mechanical aptitude and the ability to perform basic maintenance tasks
  • Excellent problem-solving and decision-making skills
  • A commitment to working safely and a demonstrated understanding of WHS requirements
  • Flexibility to adapt to changing priorities and work demands
  • A positive, collaborative, and team-oriented attitude
  • Bitumen Sprayer experience is highly regarded
  • An all rounder willing to live away from home and do everything from hand brooming to operating
