Surveyor – Large-Scale Solar Farm Project | QLD

We are seeking an experienced Surveyor to join our team on a large-scale solar farm project approx. 2 hours northwest of Rockhampton. This is an exciting opportunity to be part of a major renewable energy project, contributing to Australia's transition to sustainable power.

The Role:

As a Surveyor, you will be responsible for providing accurate and timely surveying services to support the construction and delivery of the project. Working closely with engineers, project managers, and construction crews, you'll ensure that all survey data is precise and compliant with project requirements.

Key Responsibilities:

• Conduct field surveys and establish control networks across the project site
• Perform set-out of civil, structural, and electrical works
• Collect, process, and interpret survey data using industry-standard equipment and software
• Maintain accurate survey records, reports, and as-built documentation
• Collaborate with site teams to resolve technical issues and ensure construction accuracy
• Uphold safety, environmental, and quality standards at all times

About You:

• Tertiary qualifications in Surveying (or related field)
• Previous experience working on large civil, infrastructure, or energy projects (renewables preferred)
• Proficiency with survey instruments (GPS, total stations, drones an advantage) and relevant software (AutoCAD, 12d, CivilCAD, or similar)
• Strong problem-solving skills with attention to detail
• Excellent communication and teamwork abilities
• Current driver's licence and white card essential
