About the Role:

This is a hands-on role suited to a practical, skilled welder with experience in theconstruction industry. You'll need to be confident reading plans and technical drawings and have solid experience in butt and fillet welding. You'll also be expected to assist with general fabrication and operate a variety of workshop machines.


Key Responsibilities:

  • Carry out high-standard welding on steel fencing components (butt and fillet welds)
  • Read and interpret construction drawings and site plans
  • Operate machinery such as pipe benders, crimpers, drill presses, and more
  • Work as part of a team to meet project deadlines
  • Maintain safety, quality, and cleanliness in the workshop and on site

What We're Looking For:

  • Hands-on welding experience (butt and fillet preferred)
  • Ability to read and work from plans and technical drawings
  • Experience in construction or commercial fencing environments
  • Confident using workshop tools and machinery
  • Team player with a good work ethic and attention to detail
  • Certificates or formal qualifications are not required – practical experience is what matters most
  • Current Forklift ticket
  • Must have own car to get to our factory in Hemmant
