Whilst the building and construction industry continues to thrive, Amrick continues to grow and we are always looking to expand our workforce team. We are currently looking for Qualified Plasterers for an immediate start in Melbourne
About the Role
Your day-to-day duties may include:
- Prepare surfaces for plastering (cleaning, smoothing, removing old plaster or paint).
- Repair and patch damaged plaster surfaces.
- Install plasterboard (drywall) and fix it into place with screws or adhesives.
- Sand and smooth finished surfaces ready for painting or finishing.
- Measure and cut plasterboard accurately.
- Read and interpret blueprints or plans when required.
Requirements:
- Valid White Card.
- Certificate III in Plastering.
- Working With Children Check (highly desirable).
- Police Check (Mandatory).
- Flu Vaccination (Mandatory).
- Covid Vaccination (highly desirable).
- Strong work ethic and a proactive attitude
- Ability to follow instructions and work well within a team
What We Offer:
- $45–$50 per hour + daily travel allowance + superannuation
- Weekly pay cycle
- Opportunities for both short-term and long-term work
- Overtime paid at penalty rates
