About the Role

We are seeking an enthusiastic and reliable Pastry Chef to join our production team in Leichhardt. This is a hands-on role supporting our Head Pastry Chef in the development and production of premium moulded cakes.

With the busy Christmas season approaching, we are experiencing higher-than-usual production volumes and are looking for extra support to help us meet demand. For the right candidate, there may be an opportunity for the role to continue after the New Year as our production continues to grow.

Key Responsibilities

  • Assist in the preparation and production of individual moulded cakes and other pastry items
  • Support the Head Pastry Chef with daily production tasks and kitchen organisation
  • Maintain a clean, safe, and hygienic work environment in accordance with food safety standards
  • Assist with packaging, labelling, and order fulfilment as required
  • Work collaboratively to meet daily targets and deadlines

About You

  • Previous pastry experience in a commercial or production kitchen
  • Strong attention to detail and ability to follow recipes and instructions accurately
  • Reliable, punctual, and able to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment
  • A team player with a positive attitude
  • Available to work Monday to Thursday until Christmas
