Cleaner – Cazalys Stadium / AFL Cairns

Full-time | 38 hours per week | Immediate start

AFL Cairns/ Cazalys Stadium are seeking a reliable, hands-on Cleaner to help maintain one of Far North Queensland's premier sporting and event venues.

You'll play an important role in keeping our facilities clean, safe, and event-ready — from day-to-day operations to major AFL, cricket, and community events.

Key Responsibilities

  • Maintain the presentation and cleanliness of Cazalys Stadium, AFL Cairns offices, and surrounding grounds
  • Clean amenities, change rooms, corporate suites, offices, and public areas
  • Assist with pre- and post-event cleaning for AFL, cricket, concerts, and community events
  • Manage waste and recycling, maintain stock levels, and care for cleaning equipment
  • Support the Facilities and Operations teams during events

About You

  • Reliable, self-motivated, and take pride in your work
  • Strong attention to detail and presentation standards
  • Able to work both independently and as part of a small, high-performing team
  • Available for occasional weekend and evening work
  • Experience in commercial or stadium cleaning preferred
  • Committed to maintaining a safe and professional environment
