About the role

Peninsula Smiles is seeking an experienced Oral Health Therapist to join our passionate and dedicated team in Mornington, Victoria. This is a part-time position, offering the opportunity to provide exceptional dental care to our valued patients in a supportive and collaborative environment.

What you'll be doing

• Performing a variety of dental procedures, including exam, hygiene, fillings, and minor dental restorations
• Conducting oral health assessments and developing individualised treatment plans for patients
• Educating patients on proper oral hygiene and preventive dental care
• Collaborating with the dentists and other team members to ensure the delivery of high-quality, comprehensive dental services
• Maintaining detailed patient records and following all relevant policies and procedures

What we're looking for

• Completion of an accredited Oral Health Therapy program and current registration with the Australian Health Practitioner Regulation Agency (AHPRA)
• Minimum of 2 years' experience as an Oral Health Therapist in a clinical setting
• Strong clinical skills and a commitment to evidence-based dental practices
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to educate and engage patients
• A team-oriented approach and the ability to work collaboratively with the dental team
• Proficiency in the use of dental software and technology
