A leading design studio known for their standout work in the hospitality sector is looking for a capable Senior Project Leader to join their Melbourne team. This newly created position will see you supporting a busy Director by taking ownership of projects and confidently leading them from concept through to delivery. With a strong pipeline of hotel and hospitality work, they're after someone who thrives on responsibility and is ready to step up and take the reins.

Role and Responsibilities

  • Lead hotel and hospitality projects across all phases
  • Manage internal teams and external consultants
  • Coordinate design development, documentation, and delivery
  • Contribute to and uphold the studio's high design standards
  • Report directly to a Director and take initiative to lighten their workload
  • Attend site meetings and ensure timely project delivery

Skills and Experience

  • 7+ years of experience in architecture or interior design
  • Proven experience on hospitality and/or hotel projects is essential
  • Comfortable leading projects and mentoring junior team members
  • Strong Revit skills preferred
  • Registered Architect or Interior Designer – open to either
  • Excellent communication and client management skills
  • Able to work autonomously while remaining collaborative
