Pine Rivers Special School is seeking a compassionate and dedicated Youth Worker to provide one on one support for a student, helping create a safe, inclusive, and positive learning environment. Step Into Your Next Chapter
- Develop and implement targeted wellbeing strategies to support the student's emotional and social development.
- Work closely with the school leadership team to monitor the student's wellbeing and engagement, providing early interventions and proactive support.
- Use a strengths-based approach to build the student's self-esteem, social skills, and connection to peers.
- Design and apply individualised strategies to help the student navigate social and learning situations with confidence.
- Act as a trusted mentor, advocate, and consistent support person in the student's day-to-day school life.

What You Bring
- You have experience working with young people, particularly those with disabilities or additional needs.
- You're empathetic, resourceful, and skilled at building strong, positive relationships.
- You understand the importance of early intervention and holistic support.
- You're confident working collaboratively within a multidisciplinary team.
