About the role ...
We are looking for a dedicated, hard working and diligent Cleaner to provide
high quality cleaning and ensure a safe environment.
The successful incumbent will be responsible for the daily cleaning of rooms,
furniture and fittings, toilets and showers, waste and general areas of the premises. Aged Care experience in a similar role highly advantageous but not essential.
Some of key responsibilities of the position include:
- Cleaning floors, mopping surfaces, washing/scrubbing surface areas, dusting, emptying waste, vacuuming
- Team work
- Effective communication
- Elder satisfaction
- Adherence to work health and safety requirements
Qualifications
- Cert III (Aged Care) or working towards attaining this qualification
- skill group 3- No formal qualification or up to Cert III
Skills & Experience
- The ability to accept direction and to work in a team environment with
minimal supervision - The ability to work in a safe and respectful manner
- The ability to work with frail and/or cognitively impaired elders and their
families within the Accreditation Standards and funding guidelines - Good interpersonal skills

Strong attention to detail and the ability to work efficiently and independently

Excellent time management skills and the ability to prioritise tasks

A commitment to providing outstanding customer service
- Previous Cleaning experience in Aged Care preferred
