About the role – We are seeking a talented, passionate and ambitious Team Leader to assist with Sales and take charge of the day to day Admin tasks associated with a retail store. Work in a family friendly, business with a strong team culture in a centrally located retail store.In this role you will be responsible along with our Sales Team for day to day store operations, inventory processes, and team engagement.Ideally you will have had previous experience as a valued team leader / Manager in a retail environment, with preference given to applicants having worked in furniture, Bedding or luxury retail.Our successful candidate must have had experience in back end administrative duties and is confident on their ability to learn quickly with attention to detail. You must also have customer service experience and strong developing leadership skills along with previous sales experience.This is a perfect opportunity for a focused applicant who shows initiative and confidence to take your career to the next level. This role is ideal for a result driven individual with a strong focus on self-improvement and sales team results, you will lead by example to enhance customer satisfaction and meet sales and profitability KPI'sSkills and experienceESSENTIAL – Strong Experience in Administrative duties associated with the retail environmentA focused and confident personality with a passion to learn our all aspects of the businessHigh level of competency with Microsoft Office & Excel.Immaculate professional presentation with a confident approach.Previous experience selling high ticket product such as mattresses, furniture, home-wares, electrical, or other premium product categories, with demonstrated sales achievement.The ability to work independently in a highly autonomous role, and the flexibility to work some weekends on a rotating roster.
