Motor Mechanic

JAX Tyres & Auto Narellan are seeking a motivated Mechanic to join our team.

We're on the lookout for a motivated person to join our friendly and supportive team.

This is a full-time, hands-on role where you'll work with premium tyre and mechanical brand across both passenger vehicles and SUV's. You'll be helping our customers drive away with confidence and peace of mind.

As a full-time Mechanic, you will play a vital role in servicing and repairing a wide range of vehicles, ensuring our customers drive away with confidence and peace of mind.

What you'll be doing

• Conducting vehicle diagnostics, servicing, and mechanical repairs
• Performing maintenance on engines, brakes, suspension, steering, cooling systems, and more
• Road testing vehicles to ensure the quality of repairs
• Accurately completing service documentation and digital job cards
• Communicating with customers to explain issues and proposed solutions
• Working collaboratively with the workshop team to meet deadlines and maintain high service standards
• Following all safety protocols and company procedures
• Maintaining a clean and safe workshop environment

What we're looking for

• Minimum 3 years' experience as a qualified Motor Mechanic
• Automotive trade qualification and certificates
• Experience managing and training apprentices (Advantageous)
• Current valid Driver's Licence
• Strong diagnostic and problem-solving skills
• Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment
• High attention to detail and commitment to quality workmanship
• Excellent communication and teamwork skills
• A strong focus on safety and compliance with WHS regulations
• Available to work on Saturdays
