About the role
Casual opportunity to perform a range of clinical support activities and on the job skills development while engaged in formal full-time or part-time tertiary studies necessary to acquire the relevant entry level qualification (mandatory) for employment as a Pharmacist in Queensland.
About you
Our ideal candidate will be someone who can carry out the following key accountabilities in accordance with the Metro North Health's values:
- Undertake tasks under close practice supervision of a Registered Pharmacist in accordance with prescribed professional and ethical standards, including but not limited to dispensing prescriptions, supplying schedule 8 medicines, maintaining ward imprests and obtaining patient medication details.
- Develop clinical practice knowledge and skills through continuing work towards completion of a tertiary qualification in Pharmacy as recognised by the Australian Health Profession Regulation Agency (AHPRA).
- Develop and build clinical competency by actively participating in assessment and feedback processes.
- Work cooperatively within the Pharmacy Department and greater multidisciplinary team to support provision of patient centred care.
