About the business and the role

Pureharvest is a health food company located in Drouin, Victoria.  We are looking for an experienced and qualified electrician to work closely with all personnel involved in maintaining plant and equipment.

Job tasks and responsibilities

Provide electrical support to ensure the smooth operation of manufacturing plant and equipment.

  • Maintain electrical systems throughout plant and building.
  • Complete electrical breakdown maintenance on milk manufacturing and filling plant, and other food manufacturing equipment.
  • Complete preventive electrical maintenance on plant.
  • Complete new electrical installations throughout plant and building.
  • Mentor any Apprentice Electricians employed by the Company.
  • Work within company policies and procedures
  • Work with Maintenance, Engineering, Production and Quality Departments.
  • Fulltime afternoon shift
  • Complete all in-house training provided
  • Abide by all in-house drug and alcohol policies

Skills and experience

  • Victorian A Class Electrical Licence - essential.
  • Experience in a FMCG manufacturing plant.
  • Experience in food manufacturing processes and food safety, desirable.
  • PLC/SCADA diagnostic skills.
  • Experience with Motor control, relay logic and Variable Speed Drives.
  • Experience with analog instrumentation.
  • Experience with data networking.
  • Experience reading and updating electrical schematics
  • High Risk – Forklift, Boom Ticket, desirable.
  • Computer skills – Office, AutoCAD, Mex
