GEOTECHNICAL DRILLER

Statewide Geotechnical (Aust) Pty Ltd is a Melbourne-based company offering geotechnical consultancy services for both local and interstate projects, as well as extensive laboratory testing in our N.A.T.A. accredited laboratory.

We currently have a position available for a GEOTECHNICAL DRILLER for an immediate start.

Work will be at various locations around the state and interstate, with occasional nights spent away from home.

Essential requirements / skills are:

· Efficient liaison with Engineering Supervisor

· Ability to conduct drilling operations including:

· AUGER, WASHBORE, WIRELINE DIAMOND DRILLING

· In situ testing including S.P.T., VANE SHEAR and D.C.P.

· Sampling including U-TUBE and BULK Current HR License

· Ensure efficient and safe operations of Drilling Rig and ancillary equipment

· Mechanical aptitude and problem solving ability

· Current HR Licence

· Suitable physical fitness

· Be Metro Melbourne based or have accommodation in Metro Melbourne

· References

Preference will be given to applicants having:

· operational experience of Drill Rigs including GEOPROBE / COMACCHIO / HANJIN

· Class 1 or Class 2 Victorian Water Bore Licence
