The Role

This is a rare chance to work across
both Sales and Production estimating
in the one role — something that is usually separated in larger builders. You'll work closely with Sales, Design, and Construction, supporting tenders and proposals while also delivering accurate BOQs and costings through to site.

Day-to-day you will:

  • Prepare clear and accurate sales estimates for tenders and proposals

  • Produce detailed BOQs for the Construction team

  • Mentor and support two junior estimators in the team

  • Liaise with suppliers and trades to secure competitive pricing

  • Maintain and improve estimating systems and processes

  • Assist the Estimating Team Leader by reducing workload pressure

About You

  • Minimum 3-7 years' experience
    in estimating within residential construction (project homes preferred)

  • Strong background in Production Estimating; Sales Estimating experience ideal (or willingness to learn quickly)

  • Confident communicator with strong mentoring skills to support junior team members

  • Excellent organisational and problem-solving skills with high attention to detail

  • Proficiency in estimating systems (Client Manager, Databuild or similar) and MS Office
