A major bank is currently seeking a Senior Azure Devops Engineer to join their team on a long term contract. Initially 12 month contract and hybrid (2 days a week in office).

Sydney or Melbourne based

Responsibilities:

  • Design, build, and automate Azure Services with a focus on security, compliance, and cost optimization using Terraform for Enterprise consumption.
  • Contribute to the ongoing improvement of the banks Azure platform, it's patterns, and tools
  • Facilitate solution design and delivery phases to ensure timely resolution of design issues.
  • Build and manage CI/CD pipelines
  • Automate Azure services deployment
  • Mentor junior members

Key Skills / Experience:

  • Deep practical working experience (e.g. ideal minimum of 5 years) in a dynamic DevOps capacity focusing on Azure technologies
  • Advanced Terraform experience
  • Experience in developing CICD pipelines – Jenkins, Artifactory.
  • Writing Azure detailed design documentation
  • Troubleshooting in azure technologies and across multiple consumption model
  • Financial services
  • Azure certification
