Our boutique dental practice is searching for a Dental Assistant to join our team in a part-time or full time position. As our clinic continues to grow and one of our long-term staff members has retired and another graduating from university soon, this is a fantastic opportunity for you to grow with us and build a rewarding career in the dental industry

ABOUT US:

We are a family-owned, three-chair dental clinic based in Templestowe Lower, and we've been proudly operating out of the same location for over 50 years. We pride ourselves on providing the highest level of healthcare in a warm, friendly, and ethical manner. Our experienced dentists perform a wide range of procedures, from preventative and restorative to cosmetic dentistry. Our clinic is conveniently located just a stone's throw from the Eastern Freeway and Doncaster Westfield, with plenty of parking available for staff.

What You'll Do:

  • Assist dentists with a variety of dental procedures
  • Prepare treatment rooms and sterilize equipment
  • Provide excellent patient care and make them feel comfortable
  • Help with patient records and office tasks
  • Assist with reception duties as needed

ABOUT YOU:

Our ideal candidate is an enthusiastic, caring, and reliable individual who loves interacting with people. You are eager to start a rewarding career in the health industry, and we are ready to provide training for those without prior industry experience. As long as you have the right attitude, we'd love to hear from you Training will be provided in chairside assisting, sterilisation procedures, our Practice Management System (Core Practice), and reception tasks.

  • Flexibility to work the occasional Saturday shift (clinic is open for half a day every 6-10 weeks)

Work Days:

  • Part-time or full-time opportunities (Dental assistant traineeship available)
  • Must be available on Thursdays
  • Occasional half-day Saturday shift (2-3 times per year)

Hourly rate will depend on your level of experience, age, and enrolment into the Dental Assistant Certificate III Traineeship.
