We're looking for an experienced and driven Events Manager to join our dynamic team and lead the execution of events that create lasting impressions.

Job Overview

As the Events Manager at Mantra Bunbury, you'll play a key role in the planning, coordination, and delivery of a diverse range of events, including corporate conferences, gala dinners, trade exhibitions, school formals, and other celebratory events. You'll work closely with our clients and internal teams to ensure seamless event experiences, while maintaining the highest standard of service.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Lead the planning, organization, and execution of events held at Mantra Bunbury, ensuring each one runs smoothly from start to finish.
  • Manage client relationships, including understanding their event needs and providing expert advice to exceed their expectations.
  • Coordinate event logistics, including venue setup, catering, AV, and guest services.
  • Supervise the event team to ensure all roles are carried out efficiently.
  • Work closely with sales teams to identify opportunities for new events and clients.
  • Ensure events stay within budget while delivering exceptional experiences.
  • Be the main point of contact for clients before, during, and after events.
  • Maintain a strong knowledge of the IVY system to manage event bookings, schedules, and client details.

Requirements:

  • Proven experience in event management, ideally within a hotel or hospitality setting.
  • Strong knowledge and hands-on experience with the IVY system for event booking and management.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work with a range of stakeholders.
  • Highly organized with exceptional attention to detail.
  • Ability to work under pressure and manage multiple events at once.
  • Flexibility to work weekends, evenings, and holidays as needed.
  • Experience in managing large-scale events, gala dinners, trade exhibitions, school formals, and other celebratory events is highly desirable.
