Shape the Energy Future with AusNet
At AusNet, we connect over 1.5 million Victorians with energy every day. As owners and operators of Victoria's electricity transmission network, electricity distribution network, and gas distribution network, we're leading the way in enabling a sustainable energy future.
Due to growth, we have two exciting Team Lead opportunities within our SCADA EMS team:
Team Lead – SCADA Commissioning: Take charge of commissioning activities for new equipment and systems, ensuring seamless integration and reliability.
Team Lead – SCADA System Administration & Support: Lead the administration and support of SCADA systems, driving performance and continuous improvement.
Both roles involve leading skilled teams, maintaining system availability, and collaborating with internal and external stakeholders to keep the grid running smoothly.
What You'll Do
- Lead and manage teams to meet operational and project deadlines.
- Oversee incident and problem management for SCADA EMS systems.
- Plan and prioritize workloads, ensuring service levels are met.

- 5–10 years' experience in SCADA/EMS systems (GE e-terra experience desirable).
- Strong understanding of electricity networks and operational technologies.
- Proven leadership skills – team management or leading workstreams.
- Excellent communication and stakeholder engagement abilities.
- Degree in Electrical Engineering, Power Systems, or IT (preferred).

We believe in more than just competitive pay. Here's what sets us apart:
- Flexibility: whether this is hybrid work, flexible hours, or part time arrangements, we'll work with you to help balance work and life.
- Leave: more than typical personal leave and a generous 14 weeks of paid parental leave, with no minimum service.
- Community Giving: a paid day to volunteer with our social impact partner, Foodbank, or for a cause that matters to you.
- Perks: we offer all the other perks you've come to expect like purchased leave, income protection insurance, novated leasing, corporate discounts, private health cover discounts and more.
As an industry in transformation, we're excited by the possibilities ahead.
