Arborist Traineeship

Thomas Family Tree Services is a long-standing family owned business that has been operating since 1990. We have built our reputation on providing an excellent level of customer service in Melbourne's Northern and North Western Suburbs.

We are currently seeking a Trainee Arborist for an immediate start to join our team.

We operate a safe work environment with new modern and high quality equipment. You will be exposed to all facets of tree work in private, commercial and civil settings with on the job training and formal Tafe training.

Prior experience is not essential however we are looking for someone who has a genuine interest in arboriculture and working outdoors as part of a team.

To be successful you will need to be:

• Have commenced or looking to commence your Certificate III in Arboriculture
• Australian Driver's License
• White Card – Essential
• Working with Children Check
• Physically fit and healthy
• Highly safety conscious with the ability to undertake thorough risk assessments with a proven commitment to safety
• Highly motivated, with a positive attitude
• Able to take direction and follow instructions

Location:

• You will be expected to meet at the Depot in Wandong every morning unless prior arrangements can be made.
