The Role
We are looking for a Power Electronics Engineer who enjoys hands-on problem solving, collaboration, and innovation. You will design, test, and improve high-performance power conversion systems that form the core of Tritium's fast-charging technology.

You will work closely with mechanical, firmware, and test teams across the full product lifecycle, from concept and simulation to prototype, validation, and production.

What You Will Do

  • Design and validate high-efficiency power conversion circuits and systems
  • Model and simulate converters and components
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams on system integration and troubleshooting
  • Conduct hands-on testing, validation, and data analysis of prototypes
  • Investigate and resolve design, EMC, and reliability issues
  • Contribute to continuous improvement in design tools, automation, and processes
  • Participate in design reviews and share learnings across the engineering team

What You Bring

  • Degree in Electrical, Electronic, or Power Engineering (or equivalent experience)
  • Two or more years in power electronics design, testing, or validation
  • Strong understanding of converters, inverters, magnetics, and control fundamentals
  • Experience with simulation and analysis tools such as SPICE, MATLAB, Simulink, or PLECS
  • Familiarity with SiC, GaN, or other emerging power device technologies
  • Hands-on testing and troubleshooting experience
  • Strong communication and teamwork skills
  • Curiosity, ownership, and a practical mindset
