· BPM Sr Technical Architect 

Responsibilities

• Sr Technical Architect is responsible for architecting and designing business applications. Provides architecture and design guidance to project teams developing BPM solutions.
• Provide thought-leadership to client across business and technical project dimensions solving complex business requirements.
• Develops and demonstrates an advanced knowledge of the BPM Product Architecture and all design and implementation features.
• Works in conjunction with Program Manager to size, manage scope and risk.
• Accountable for ensuring the business and technical architecture of the delivered solution matches customer technical and functional requirements, and commits to Customer Success (realization of business benefit)
• Participates in the development of additional consulting opportunities within the customer base.
• Leads design reviews and production readiness reviews with the team to ensure the solution is designed and configured for optimal performance in the production environment.
• Assessing Pipeline opportunities according to the agreed process and guidelines.
• Document a solution design to be developed on Appian platform.
• Assist with resolution of requirements and solution design issues in pipeline assessments and delivery.
• Ensure Solution Designs observe CTO guidelines.
• Ensure Solution Designs are subject to risk oversight.
• Actively calling out risks and issues
• Ongoing solution design activities during project delivery phases
• Contribute to community of practice.
• Contributing to the design and dev best practices
• Accountable for end-to-end solution designs focused on Appian but not limited to Appian.
• Potentially lead team of engineers and provide guidance to the team as design SME
• Accountable for ensuring the design best practices are followed in line with broader Westpac Design and Dev communities

Essential Skills

· years of Business Process Management hands-on experience in Appian Tool

· Appian "Lead Developer" Certification is a MUST.

· Experience in Appian 23.X is essential.

• Highly experienced in complex, enterprise implementations based on Appian software.
• Undertakes complex system integration configuration and transformations.

· years of strong experience in Leading team with respect to design and implementation of Business Process Management solutions using Appian.

· Strong architectural, design and Hands-on active experience includes:

o   Design of UI SAIL forms for Tempo environment.

o   Design of CDTs that interact with external database.

o   Design of role-based access control Appian components

o   Development of Records and Reports using SAIL

o   Build/consumption of WEB/REST services

o   Design of expression rules, constants, and query rules

o   Handling Appian Packaging and deployment

o   Applying Appian Best Practices

o   Experience in performing integration using Standard Protocols like REST, SOAP, MQ etc.

o   Experience in terms of installation, Configuration, Deployment and Maintenance of Appian Applications.

o   Experience in handling Application Security (Encryption/Decryption, TLS/SSL, Digital Certificate) and SSO (SAML, oAuth).

o   Experience in building automated deployment of Appian process applications.

o   Well Versed with the latest versions of Appian release including process mining, AI and RPA capabilities.

o   Strong understanding of Appian server-side properties, Topology, heap memory, sizing and scaling

o   Experience/exposure to Cloud Migration (on-prem to cloud and vice versa), DB Migration

· Should have good communication skills.

Nice to Have skills:

· Implementation experience on Finance, Banking, Healthcare and its related would be an added advantage.

· Experience in Plug-in Development/Java/.Net/web services is an added advantage.

Essential Qualification

• BE / master's degree in computer science/application (MCA, MSc Computer Science etc..) from a Premier Institute with 5-9 years of implementation end to end hands on experience.
