What You'll Do
The Admissions Coordinator role involves the usual Contour Admissions Advisor responsibilities (guiding families through 1-on-1 consultations and text/email/call support), as well as leading an operational pillar of the Admissions Program, where you will mentor advisors, create team resources and improve systems.
Each Admissions Coordinator will specialise in one of these 3 areas:
- Consultations: Observe and review advisor consultations weekly, providing structured feedback to maintain consistency and quality. Oversee consultation systems and workflows, including templates, CRM processes, and feedback mechanisms.
- Knowledge Base: Audit and improve the accuracy of our internal admissions knowledge base and SOPs (standard operating procedures). Coach advisors on research methods and admissions content, managing ongoing content development projects.
- Inbound Coordination: Monitor and manage student and parent communications to ensure timely, high-quality responses. Train advisors on communication standards and develop call/text templates to enhance inbound engagement.
Comprehensive Training & Support
As an Admissions Coordinator, you'll be properly onboarded by the Admissions Team Leader with all the support and personal feedback you need to succeed in your role. You'll be trained in how to run 1-on-1 feedback calls with team members and how to create effective team resources, with frequent feedback to help you upskill and refine your communication and problem-solving skills. By the end of your training, you will feel comfortable in your role as a coordinator, and will feel confident in creating a large and fulfilling impact across the admissions program at Contour.
Expected Work Hours
16 Hours Weekly (Approximately 8 hours Admissions Advisor work, 8 hours Admissions Coordinator work)
Compensation
- $45 per Hour ( Super) for Admissions Coordinator responsibilities.
- $40 per Hour ( Super) for Admissions Advisor responsibilities.

Currently Studying Medicine/Dentistry in Australia
Prior Mentoring, Coordination or Leadership Experience
