We're looking for experienced and passionate & experienced Cooks to join our experienced team working for a well-known local restaurant based in Dural, NSW.

Cuisine: Italian/Mediterranean

Seating capacity: over 500

Great work life balance(no nights except Fri/Sat) & Great working environment.

MUST be driving as location not near station

Knowledge, Qualifications, skills and Attributes:

  • Experience in Pasta, Grill and Woodfire Pizza section
  • Previous experience of 2-3 years
  • Working knowledge of WH&S and food safety procedures.
  • Is approachable and tolerant
  • Works in an efficient and innovative manner
  • Professional presentation and communication skills with the ability to build relationships at all level of the organisation
  • Great service and communication skills
  • Immaculate personal grooming and presentation
  • Demonstration of organisation behaviour and values
  • Building a Guest Culture and able to be building Trust and Teamwork

Key Responsibilities & Accountabilities:

  • Ensuring standards in food quality, consistency and WH&S are met
  • Accountable for food preparation and presentation to ensure quality and restaurant standards
  • Ensures a first in first out rotation system and verifies all food products are properly dated and organised for quality assurance
  • Follow food standards including presentation, products, and service style among others.
  • Acts as liaison to front-of-house employees to ensure proper food service temperature
  • Seasons food according to recipes or company need
  • Prepares any necessary sauces or accompaniments before meal service begins
  • Cleans up after business hours
