Applications are sought from suitably experienced Storepersons to join the Supply and Procurement team at Echuca Regional Health. The ideal applicant will have strong organisational skills, a keen eye for detail and the ability to multitask.

Key responsibilities include:

• Work as part of a multidisciplinary team to deliver and receipt goods within the hospital whilst adopting a client focused approach
• Efficiently monitor and follow up back ordered items and delivery dockets
• Effectively utilise computer systems to assist in the preparation of invoices, distribution of good and stock of inventory
• Provide effective customer service for all inquiries, in person or over the phone
• Actively participate in mandatory meetings as required and requested
• Maintain core clinical competence specific to the area of clinical practice

Qualifications/experience required:

• Physical capacity to undertake manual handling
• Advanced Computer skills and knowledge of Microsoft Office
• Excellent time management and organisational skills

Desirable:

• Previous experience in a similar role
• Sound knowledge of medical products
• Knowledge and experience in maintaining creditor systems, warehousing, supply and logistics
• Knowledge of manual handling procedures
