Jim's Cleaning Aberfoyle Park is a trusted provider of high-quality cleaning services in the local community. Our team of experienced professionals is committed to delivering exceptional results and providing a superior customer experience. We pride ourselves on our attention to detail, reliability, and commitment to sustainability.
We are looking for a qualified team leader to help manage our team and provide effective guidance who isn't afraid to jump in and clean. You will be responsible for supervising, managing and motivating team members on a daily basis and covering team absences when needed. As a team leader, you will be the contact point for all team members, so your communication skills should be excellent. You should also be able to act proactively to ensure smooth team operations and effective collaboration, Ultimately, you should lead by setting a good example and engage the team to achieve goals.
RESPONSIBILITIES
- Create an inspiring team environment with an open communication culture
- Set clear team goals and followup with achieving these goals.
- Delegate tasks and set deadlines
- Supervise and support team members, including hands-on training and regular site visits to maintain service quality.
- Monitor team attendance using internal systems and ensure adequate shift coverage, including stepping in when needed.
- Act as the first point of contact for team queries, escalating urgent issues to the BDM's or Owner.
- Discover training needs and provide coaching
- Listen to team members' feedback and help resolve any issues or conflicts
- Recognize high performance and reward accomplishments
SKILL REQUIREMENTS
- Proven work experience as a team leader or supervisor
- In-depth knowledge of performance metrics
- Good PC skills, especially Excel and AI apps
- Excellent communication and leadership skills
- Organizational and time-management skills
- Decision-making skills
- Indepth Knowledge of cleaning is disired.
AVALIABILITY REQUIREMENTS
- Monday to Friday (inclusive) no weekend or public holiday work Main work hours would be between 8am to 5pm but does require flexibility for clients visits which will fall outside of these hours from time to time
Job Types: Full-time, Part-time, Permanent
Pay: $28.00 – $48.00 per hour
Expected hours: 38 per week
