Berle Transport is a medium sized refrigerated transport business, family owned and established for over 30 years.

We have an opening for a full-time Linehaul Allocator to join the team at our Ingleburn depot. You enjoy planning and coordinating the movement of temperature sensitive freight.

You will work in a friendly yet professional environment as part of a supportive and compliant team.

You will be responsible for:

  • Communication with clients and drivers, giving clear instructions.
  • Data entry and administration completeness, timeliness and accuracy.
  • Administering the movement of freight through consignment notes, manifests, pallet dockets and customer delivery dockets.
  • Ensuring all drivers folders are completed with their delivery documentation and resolve any issues.
  • Supporting the Suppliers, Customers and Berle team with reports, enquiries, safety procedures, pallet reconciliations and administration.

Key Skills / About you:

  • Minimum of 2 years' experience in linehaul and/or local allocation (ideally with experience in refrigerated transport).
  • Understanding of NHVR and WH&S compliance requirements.
  • Strong computer literacy, experience using MS Office, Transport Management Systems (TransLogix, 2IC Pallets).
  • Enjoy building good working relationships and clear communication with the team and customers.
  • Good time management skills, being able to work to a deadline and under pressure.

Success in this role requires a high degree of organisation with an eye for detail, you rarely miss things and if you do you correct fast. You also enjoy pitching in to support others, ensuring the work is done, knowing the priority is to get the freight in and out on time.
