Chief Concierge at The Tasman
The Chief Concierge is a destination authority, with the relationships and emotional intelligence to elevate The Tasman guest experience through deep connection to Hobart, Tasmania. Upholding luxury standards, the Chief Concierge quietly pursues the extraordinary - leading the team to craft bespoke, memorable stays through genuine human connection.
Key responsibilities
- Build rapport to ensure all guests receive warm, personalised, and anticipatory service
- Identify opportunities to enhance the guest stay through value-adding experiences on and off property
- Establish relationships with local attractions, restaurants and businesses, and maintain a finger on the pulse for new and emerging products and experiences
- Provide recommendations and arrange services such as transfers, car rental, personalised travel and tour itineraries, tickets and services
- Lead the Concierge and Porterage teams in delivering exceptional service
- Contribute to and execute The Tasman's Destination Discoveries programming
As our Chief Concierge, you will have:
- Prior experience in a Chief Concierge role
- A genuine passion for our destination
- A natural ability to connect meaningfully and build lasting relationships with guests, team members and stakeholders from diverse backgrounds
- A solution-focused mindset and the ability to think on your feet
- Demonstrated tact, confidentiality, and discretion
- Proficiency in hotel management systems such as OPERA
- Valid working rights in Australia, a current Australian driver's license, and an RSA certificate
Membership of Les Clefs d'Or, or actively working towards certification, is highly desirable.
