Reporting to the Construction Manager, you will assist in ensuring that the project safety culture is instilled into the construction team and that risk management and safe systems are embedded in all aspects of the project scope.

Responsibilities

  • Assist in the day-to-day HSEC of construction packages through site presence & audits.
  • Monitor construction activities compliance
  • Proactively identify issues to the Construction Team to ensure Safe Systems of Work
  • Actively participate in construction risk management and construction reviews
  • Audit performance (minimum one per day)
  • Incident reporting, investigation, and close-out
  • Report regularly on Project safety statistics (AI / MTI / LTI)
  • Report on Team Audit performance

You will possess

  • Bachelor's degree in occupational safety, environmental health, or related field
  • Certification in Occupational Health and Safety (OHS) preferred.
  • 5 years professional construction experience


  • Skills in communicating, achieving consensus and build alignment cooperatively
  • Experience of construction risk identification
  • Ability to work effectively in cross functional groups
  • Strong problem-solving skills, demonstrating objective and critical thinking
