About the Role

Cost Less Bolts (Moorabbin), a long-standing, independently owned distributor of fasteners and industrial supplies, is seeking a customer-focused, hands-on Counter Salesperson to join our team in Highett. This is a fast-paced, full-time role ideal for someone who thrives on variety and enjoys both customer interaction and warehouse support.


The Duties Include (but are not limited to):
  • Assisting customers at the retail counter, by phone, and via email
  • Picking and packing orders with accuracy and urgency
  • Handling customer payments (cash & EFTPOS)
  • Supporting the warehouse – including stock control, goods inwards/outwards, and general warehouse duties
  • Performing general showroom housekeeping tasks
  • Liaising professionally with customers and suppliers
  • Supporting the internal sales team with overflow calls
  • Adhering to OH&S standards and procedures

Ideally, You'll Also Have:
  • Experience in counter sales or a similar retail role
  • Knowledge of fasteners, tools, or construction/industrial products
  • Previous experience in a trade supply or hardware environment
  • Strong relationship-building skills with customers and suppliers
