The intensity of growth and investment in City of Parramatta means that Council, their partners, and community have a once-in-a-generation opportunity to shape the City's future and ensure it is culturally, socially, environmentally, and economically sustainable.

About the role

  • Ensure Council's current Infrastructure Contributions Plans comply with legislative requirements and are up to date, clear, comprehensive, effective, and accurate.
  • Prepare briefs and manage consultancies and associated budgets for projects related to the role.
  • Consult and engage with internal and external stakeholders and the wider community on contributions plans and related projects.
  • Undertake routine indexing of Contributions Plan rates and maintain the contributions register and any other statutory reporting requirements in accordance with relevant legislation.
  • Proactively track progress of fund accumulation, collection, and expenditure in collaboration with Council's Finance team.
  • Represent Council at meetings with applicants, landowners and external stakeholders with regard to the role.
Prepare accurate and well-presented reports for consideration by internal stakeholders and Council, and present and attend at any associated meetings as required.
