We Have Toys To Play With and 24hr Support

You will have access to Australia's largest network of Specialists and Emergency veterinarians and the Central Coast's longest established Emergency Care facility. Our toys include endoscopy, ventilation, ultrasonography, radiology and a full surgical suite (and an air fryer, toastie maker and coffee machine). There is support and back-up from our on-site Criticalist and very experienced Emergency Clinicians. There is 24-hour support from our network so you can practice at the level you are comfortable at and enjoy, knowing we've got your back, even at 2am. The network includes Internal Medicine, Surgery, Critical Care, Oncology, Ophthalmology, Radiology / Imaging and Dermatology. Our sister clinic in Sydney has advanced imaging capabilities for those cases that require, a short one hour drive away, and we have ambulance transfer facilities if needed.

About the Role

Emergency Veterinarian to work across a rotating roster of nights and weekends and some Public Holidays on a shared basis – no vaccinations or dentals in sight

• Part-time hours, 20-36 per week – shifts vary between 3-12 hours in length.
• Some sole charge will be required.
• Remuneration is expected to be between $140000 and $180000 plus Super plus C.E. for a Full-time position, depending on experience (Pro rata for PT roles)

What We Are Looking For

The ideal applicant will have at least 5 years of experience. We need someone motivated, able to work efficiently and independently, who is committed to patient care, able to communicate well, and shares a vision for a collaborative working environment, where referring veterinarians and pet owners receive personal gold standard service. Most importantly, we are looking for great people to join our team who are interested in learning and growing in their roles and believe in providing pets with the best solutions, delivered with love and empathy. We are looking for someone who values their work colleagues and wants to participate in their workplace, who values a work-life balance, and still feels passionate about what they do. Surgical skills/ interest are valued but not essential as there is support from the team. Flexibility, adaptability and a positive attitude are requirements for emergency medicine
